Prior to joining Invoke Solutions, Basil held executive positions in several large public and privately held entrepreneurial growth companies including industry leaders WillowCSN, Convergys and NEC. He has held the CEO or other executive positions in many industries including technology, software and BPO services. In 1997, Basil joined Convergys as the Group President and was part of the leadership team during the company’s IPO.  Following Convergys, Basil joined WillowCSN as the CEO in 2002. WillowCSN is considered the industry leader in virtual contact centers, a rapidly growing segment of global business process outsourcing and technology products. As the CEO, he completed a successful turnaround and strategic restructuring and repositioning of this growth business and led Willow to a successful and profitable strategic sale. Prior to starting his business career, Basil served over 5 years in the US Army.

Iqbal brings over a decade of technology and product management leadership in e-business, digital media, marketing technologies, optimization, and software as a service. Iqbal comes to Invoke from Tangent Media where as CTO he was instrumental in building a SaaS platform for brand promotions. Iqbal was Vice President of Product Engineering at Imagitas. At Imagitas, Iqbal played a key role in building and managing an online marketplace in partnership with the United States Postal Service. Earlier in his career, Iqbal co-founded Supersiswa, an e-learning solutions company in Indonesia, built supply chain optimization solutions with i2 Technologies for clients in the US and the Asia-Pacific region, and developed Genetic Algorithms for British Telecom. Iqbal holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Bombay

Kevin brings more than 25 years of progressive finance and accounting experience to Invoke Solutions. A Certified Public Accountant, he has been a Chief Financial Officer for more than fourteen years, primarily in the manufacturing and alternative energy arenas. experience is both wide and deep having worked in both private and public companies in industries ranging from brick and mortar retailing to high-tech, green energy and manufacturing. Most recently Kevin worked for AccountAbility Outsourcing providing CFO services to a wide variety of clients, primarily technology startups. Kevin graduated from Northeastern University earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and earned his MBA in Marketing and Management from The University of Rhode Island.

Wayne brings over a decade of experience as a market research professional. His expertise spans a number of vertical industries, including consumer packaged goods, information technology, insurance and financial services, and pharmaceuticals. Wayne has extensive experience in conducting both qualitative and quantitative research that translates into insights aimed at helping businesses make tactical and strategic decisions.

Prior to joining Invoke, Wayne was a Community Manager at Communispace, where he helped clients better listen to their consumers by engaging them in sharing their voices on business decisions and processes. Wayne also worked on the client side at Welch Foods, as a Research Analyst.

Prior to this, Wayne worked for six years in the IT consulting and research space, focusing on technologies such as Collaborative Product Commerce, Professional Services Automation and digital imaging and printing software.

Wayne earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Capitalizing on her broad research experience over the past 20 years, Kathy demonstrates an in-depth understanding of industry trends and consumer needs.  With an emphasis on how consumers use media, she has conducted a wide variety of projects including advertising messaging, programming evaluation, brand positioning, market segmentation, customer satisfaction, pricing and packaging, and new product development.  Her current clients cover a wide variety of industry from entertainment to communications services to packaged goods.

Prior to joining Invoke, Kathy founded and managed Beagle Insight, Inc., a strategic research consultancy with a core focus in the media and entertainment industry from 2006 to 2014.    She served as a Senior Vice President at C&R Research Services, Inc. where she managed the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the cable television research practice from 1998 – 2006.  She also served as an Associate with Marshall Cohen Associates, a marketing research and consulting firm specializing in the media industry; as Research Manager for NewsTalk Television, an upstart cable television venture; and as a local broadcast advertising sales executive.

Kathy received an MA in International Telecommunication from Michigan State University and a BBA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Jennafer brings over 15 years of research experience to the Invoke team. With her background in communications and branding research, she is a research expert at delivering insights that translate into business results for Fortune 500 companies across many categories, including hospitality, telecommunications, consumer packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, and financial services.

Prior to joining Invoke, Jennafer was with TNS’ Brand and Communications division, working with her clients to optimize their brand communications and spent over 8 years at Ipsos-ASI where she led brand equity, tracking and ad testing programs for clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Kraft Foods, M&M Mars, Novartis and Chase Financial Services.

Prior to her entry into the market research industry, Jennafer helped pioneer cause-related marketing programs, partnering not-for-profits with corporations to launch mutually-beneficial marketing campaigns.

Jennafer earned a Bachelor’s Degree  in International Studies from Rhodes College.

 Margaret has 20 years of experience in market and media research.  She began her career in media research working for Nielsen and Arbitron where she analyzed television and radio ratings and headed up the New York and Chicago sales teams.  She then moved over to market research at NFO and TNS where she worked on a variety of projects including concept and product tests, customer and employee satisfaction and ad testing for Fortune 500 clients in the CPG, beverage, technology and financial categories.  Margaret loves working in market research because the variety of clients and projects create an environment in which she is always learning.  When she’s not on a plane or geeking out over a spreadsheet, she loves spending time with her family at her home in Connecticut.

Prior to joining Invoke in May of 2013, Holly was Managing Director of Business Development for Kantar Media.  In that role, Williams led the development and sales of Digital Analytics services to the largest Consumer Package goods companies in the world.  Prior to Kantar, she held senior sales and management positions with Experian Research Services, comScore Media Metrix, America Online, and The Arbitron Company.  Holly began her career in the agency business at Tracy-Locke Advertising in Dallas Texas.

A former Texan-turned-New Yorker, Holly is on the Board of Directors of the Texas Tech University College of Media and Communications, and was named an Outstanding Alumni of the College in 2010.

Holly lives in Brooklyn with her husband, Joe, and 10 going on 25 year-old daughter, Mary Quin.

 For over 15 years Grant has been helping marketers and agencies leverage primary and secondary market research to help grow their businesses. Working across a variety of categories including CPG, Tech, Financial, and Pharma, he has helped clients evaluate advertising and product concept ideas, assess brand positioning, and track brand equity among other learning areas.

He started his career with Ernst & Young and carried his consultant’s perspective into the market research industry at Jupiter Media Metrix and then Invoke which he first joined in 2003. After working at Millward Brown, Grant recently re-joined Invoke to help propel its next phase of growth.

He holds his degree from Baylor University and despite his Texan roots has spent most his life in NYC and surrounding areas. Now in Connecticut, he enjoys placing bets with his family on whether their Jack Russell Terrier or Maine Coon will win their brotherly wrestling matches.

Dan Krason brings over twenty years of sales and marketing experience to Invoke Solutions.  He has spent the majority of his career in the publishing and research industries.  Prior to Invoke Dan was a Managing Director at the Forbes Consulting Group, where he introduced clients to the firm’s technique for measuring subconscious emotions.  Previously Dan was the Director of Market Insights and Data Services at Forrester Research, where he helped clients leverage the data-driven insights generated by Consumer TechnographicsTM – a program that examines the impact of technology on consumer behaviors and attitudes.

Dan’s career also includes client-facing roles at TNS, Harris Interactive (acquired by Nielsen), Compete (now Millward Brown Digital), BizRate.com (acquired by E.W. Scripps), and Press Access (acquired by LEXIS NEXIS).  He started his career at GE, where he completed the Financial Management (FMP) training program.

Dan graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
