VP of Research & Insights
Wayne brings over a decade of experience as a market research professional. His expertise spans a number of vertical industries, including consumer packaged goods, information technology, insurance and financial services, and pharmaceuticals. Wayne has extensive experience in conducting both qualitative and quantitative research that translates into insights aimed at helping businesses make tactical and strategic decisions.
Prior to joining Invoke, Wayne was a Community Manager at Communispace, where he helped clients better listen to their consumers by engaging them in sharing their voices on business decisions and processes. Wayne also worked on the client side at Welch Foods, as a Research Analyst.
Prior to this, Wayne worked for six years in the IT consulting and research space, focusing on technologies such as Collaborative Product Commerce, Professional Services Automation and digital imaging and printing software.
Wayne earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
VP of Research & Insights
Capitalizing on her broad research experience over the past 20 years, Kathy demonstrates an in-depth understanding of industry trends and consumer needs. With an emphasis on how consumers use media, she has conducted a wide variety of projects including advertising messaging, programming evaluation, brand positioning, market segmentation, customer satisfaction, pricing and packaging, and new product development. Her current clients cover a wide variety of industry from entertainment to communications services to packaged goods.
Prior to joining Invoke, Kathy founded and managed Beagle Insight, Inc., a strategic research consultancy with a core focus in the media and entertainment industry from 2006 to 2014. She served as a Senior Vice President at C&R Research Services, Inc. where she managed the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the cable television research practice from 1998 – 2006. She also served as an Associate with Marshall Cohen Associates, a marketing research and consulting firm specializing in the media industry; as Research Manager for NewsTalk Television, an upstart cable television venture; and as a local broadcast advertising sales executive.
Kathy received an MA in International Telecommunication from Michigan State University and a BBA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
VP of Academic Sales
Prior to joining Invoke in May of 2013, Holly was Managing Director of Business Development for Kantar Media. In that role, Williams led the development and sales of Digital Analytics services to the largest Consumer Package goods companies in the world. Prior to Kantar, she held senior sales and management positions with Experian Research Services, comScore Media Metrix, America Online, and The Arbitron Company. Holly began her career in the agency business at Tracy-Locke Advertising in Dallas Texas.
A former Texan-turned-New Yorker, Holly is on the Board of Directors of the Texas Tech University College of Media and Communications, and was named an Outstanding Alumni of the College in 2010.
Holly lives in Brooklyn with her husband, Joe, and 10 going on 25 year-old daughter, Mary Quin.
VP of Sales
Dan Krason brings over twenty years of sales and marketing experience to Invoke Solutions. He has spent the majority of his career in the publishing and research industries. Prior to Invoke Dan was a Managing Director at the Forbes Consulting Group, where he introduced clients to the firm’s technique for measuring subconscious emotions. Previously Dan was the Director of Market Insights and Data Services at Forrester Research, where he helped clients leverage the data-driven insights generated by Consumer TechnographicsTM – a program that examines the impact of technology on consumer behaviors and attitudes.
Dan’s career also includes client-facing roles at TNS, Harris Interactive (acquired by Nielsen), Compete (now Millward Brown Digital), BizRate.com (acquired by E.W. Scripps), and Press Access (acquired by LEXIS NEXIS). He started his career at GE, where he completed the Financial Management (FMP) training program.
Dan graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
