Project Manager / Associate Project Manager

This position is based in the Boston area.

The Opportunity

The role of an Associate Project Manager is to effectively deliver market research projects in a way that consistently results in the highest level of customer satisfaction for both internal and external clients, while maintaining the speed and accuracy required in a dynamic environment.

Our Associate Project Managers use our internal tools and processes to ensure all projects are executed successfully from start to finish. The job requires an organized, detail-oriented individual who can successfully manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

Invoke offers a technology-enabled service to Entertainment and other companies for testing programming and advertising content. Our clients are all iconic brands that are well known around the world.

This is an individual contributor role, with significant potential for growth with the organization. U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.


  • Maintain full project ownership in delivering low
    to high-complexity custom market research projects with a project
    duration typically between 3 days to 3 weeks.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and deliver the highest level of
    service in an ever-changing, fast turnaround environment.
  • Build an effective, professional working relationship with our
    researchers, providing them guidance and advice where appropriate as it
    relates to our products and services.
  • Ensure project task activities are completed through personal
    production and vendors (such as translators, etc.).
  • Tasks may include:
    • Programming online surveys
    • Testing online survey links
    • Sampling
    • Setting-up and monitoring reports to evaluate key project metrics
    • Ensuring quality measures are followed
    • Updating clients regularly on project progress
    • Ensuring key project performance metrics such as project
      profitability meet or exceed established guidelines
    • Assisting researchers in moderation of Live sessions (ensuring a
      smooth participant experience, deploying questions and
      troubleshooting technical issues when necessary)
    • Providing technical support for participants and researchers during
      and after sessions
  • Proactively anticipate, troubleshoot, overcome, and/or escalate
    project challenges in a timely manner.
  • Effectively communicate both as an individual and as part of a
    client-facing project team.
  • Ensure survey quality using current market research methodologies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Computer proficient. Knowledge of: Microsoft Office Word, Excel and
    internet research.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Account or Project Management experience is beneficial.
  • Experience in market research is desired.
  • Experience in a customer service environment is desired.
